Samsung has unveiled its latest gaming monitor lineup, including the Odyssey 3D, Odyssey OLED G8, and the ultrawide Odyssey G9, all designed to enhance the gaming experience.

All three monitors are currently available for pre-order, with global availability expected to follow soon.

The Odyssey 3D monitor features a 27-inch display with glasses-free 3D gaming capabilities, utilizing eye-tracking technology and a lenticular lens, along with 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

In addition to the Odyssey 3D, the Odyssey OLED G8 comes in both 27-inch and 32-inch models, boasting 4K 240Hz QD-OLED panels, with the larger version being relaunched.

The Odyssey 3D is priced at approximately $1,700 in the US, with sales set to begin on April 8, 2025.

Samsung is collaborating with game developers like Nexon and Neowiz to enhance 3D gaming technology for titles such as 'The First Berserker: Khazan' and 'Lies of P'.

Samsung's proprietary OLED Safeguard+ technology is included in the monitors to prevent burn-in and enhance their lifespan, alongside advanced features like AI video conversion for 3D content.

The Odyssey 3D can convert most content into 3D, but this requires an Nvidia graphics card (RTX 3080 or higher) and is not compatible with DRM-protected content.

Samsung is offering a $50 discount for customers who pre-order any of the new monitors, which can be reserved on Samsung.com.

To utilize the 3D gaming features, users must install Samsung's Reality Hub app, which will optimize select games for the monitor.

Connectivity options for the Odyssey 3D include Display Port 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and USB connections, though it lacks built-in speakers.

Edge Lighting technology is also integrated to enhance the immersive gaming experience by synchronizing ambient lighting with the monitor's display.
