Among the new offerings, the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDP OLED monitor stands out for reaching 480Hz, although this performance is at a resolution of 1440p rather than 4K.

Advancements in technology have alleviated burn-in concerns that once deterred consumers, thanks to the development of robust organic compounds and pixel-shifting techniques.

However, despite their increasing popularity, OLED gaming monitors still face challenges with pricing, as even the most affordable models start around $550, while premium options can exceed $1,400.

The emergence of dedicated OLED gaming monitors is relatively recent, with the Alienware AW3423DW being introduced just three years ago, followed by LG's first UltraGear OLED model in early 2023.

Additionally, warranty coverage for OLED monitors has improved, providing further reassurance to potential buyers.

This trend reflects a growing consumer preference for OLED gaming monitors, particularly as prices decrease and technology continues to advance.

Notably, LG reported that OLED monitors now account for 22% of the gaming monitor market, surpassing their 18% share in the television market.

In addition to OLED technology, MSI also introduced a 600Hz LCD model, although it lags behind Koorui's recently announced 750Hz model.
