Courses on the platform are provided by recognized entities such as Code for All, Escola 42, TechOf, Le Wagon, Ironhack, Porto Tech Hub, and ISQ.
On October 17, 2023, Sonae, Fundación Telefónica, and the European Roundtable for Industry (ERT) launched the NCN – New Career Network, a professional retraining platform.
The training offerings include 39 courses across various fields, including digital skills, agriculture, industry, health, data science, artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity.
Additionally, the platform features courses from IEFP – PRO_MOV, which collaborates with companies and the state to support future job retraining.
Cláudia Azevedo, CEO of Sonae, emphasized that the platform will enhance business competitiveness and contribute positively to the European economy.
Initially implemented in Portugal and Spain, the NCN platform is accessible to all companies and entities, promoting widespread participation.
