British rock band Coldplay wrapped up their Music of the Spheres World Tour in India with two spectacular concerts in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26, 2025.

During the performances, frontman Chris Martin expressed gratitude to the crowd in Hindi and wished them a Happy Republic Day.

Coldplay thanked Ahmedabad and India for their hospitality, stating, 'We’ll never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will stay with us forever.'

These performances followed three earlier shows in Mumbai, marking a significant milestone in the band's tour.

The Ahmedabad concerts attracted over 134,000 fans, setting a record for the highest-attended music concert in Asia in the 21st century.

The final concert was streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar, allowing fans who couldn't attend in person to enjoy the performance from home.

Many fans traveled from various locations, utilizing special trains announced by Railways to attend the concerts.

The atmosphere at the concert was electric, with an energetic crowd singing along and dancing, which enhanced the overall experience.

Described as a visual and musical extravaganza, the concerts featured high-energy performances and stunning light displays that captivated the audience.

To ensure the safety of attendees, heavy security measures were implemented, including the deployment of over 3,800 officers and 4,000 personnel, along with extensive surveillance.

Following their India concerts, Coldplay is set to continue their tour with upcoming performances in Hong Kong and South Korea in April.

Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour, which began in March 2022, has included multiple concerts in India, culminating in the memorable shows in Ahmedabad.
