Universal Orlando Resort is set to unveil Epic Universe, its fourth theme park, on May 22, 2025, marking the first new park in Florida in over 25 years.

Epic Universe will feature five immersive lands designed for younger generations, including Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The ambitious project comes with an estimated cost exceeding $6.6 billion, positioning it as one of the most anticipated theme parks globally.

The Dark Universe area will celebrate classic Universal monsters with rides like Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf, complemented by themed dining options.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will feature rides like Hiccup's Wing Gliders and a water ride called Fyre Drill, along with themed dining and playgrounds for children.

Super Nintendo World will include attractions such as Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, Mine Cart Madness, and interactive experiences at Toadstool Cafe, immersing guests in a vibrant video game environment.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will introduce a new area called the Ministry of Magic, where guests can experience the main ride, Battle at the Ministry, alongside other attractions.

Celestial Park will serve as the central hub of Epic Universe, offering attractions like the Stardust Racers coaster and various shopping and dining opportunities.

The resort will also introduce the Helios Grand Hotel, the first hotel inside a theme park in the U.S., alongside two additional hotels opening in 2025.

Industry analysts predict that Universal's focus on contemporary franchises like Mario and Harry Potter will resonate more with younger audiences compared to Disney's traditional narratives.
