In an interview on November 23, 2024, Mike Shinoda of LINKIN PARK shared his emotions surrounding the release of their new album, 'From Zero.'

'From Zero' marks LINKIN PARK's first full-length album since 'One More Light,' which was released in 2017, just before the tragic death of lead vocalist Chester Bennington.

The album features new singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain, alongside returning members Mike Shinoda, guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell, and DJ Joe Hahn.

Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell noted that the integration of new members Emily and Colin felt natural and energizing for the band.

Shinoda described the creative process for the album as complicated, emphasizing the importance of allowing things to happen organically over the past two years.

He added that the music evolved naturally, which contributed to the formation of the new lineup and the album's distinctive sound.

When discussing the album's sound, Shinoda stated it retains a strong LINKIN PARK 'DNA,' blending elements from the band's various eras.

LINKIN PARK announced their new lineup during a global livestream concert in Los Angeles in September 2024.

During concerts, guitarist Alex Feder is temporarily filling in for Delson.

At a recent concert in São Paulo, Brazil, LINKIN PARK revealed plans for a live documentary featuring footage from the performance, with a release date yet to be announced.

Looking ahead, the band is set to embark on a world tour starting in January 2025, with initial dates in Mexico, followed by Japan, and concluding in South America in November 2025.
