The franchise's third installment, A Quiet Place: Day One, serves as a prequel that explores the initial alien invasion.

Paramount+ announced that A Quiet Place: Day One will begin streaming exclusively in the U.S. and Canada on August 27, 2024, with international streaming dates to be announced.

The original film grossed $341 million worldwide against a budget of $17 million, leading to the profitable sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, which earned between $297 million and $305 million.

A Quiet Place Part II was produced with a budget of $55 million to $61 million, further solidifying the franchise's commercial success.

The plot centers on Samira, portrayed by Nyong'o, who faces a nightmare in New York City as sound-hunting creatures attack during her journey home.

Accompanied by her cat Frodo and her ally Eric, a law student, Samira must navigate the now-silent city while adhering to the crucial rule of remaining quiet to survive.
