Marvel has officially announced a new film titled 'Avengers: Doomsday,' with Robert Downey Jr. returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Doctor Doom.

The announcement was made during San Diego Comic-Con, where it was confirmed that the Russo Brothers will direct the film.

Scheduled for release in May 2025, 'Avengers: Doomsday' follows the upcoming 'Avengers: Secret Wars' set for 2026.
