The top-tier long-range dual-motor Model Y costs €52,990, offering 340 horsepower and a quicker acceleration time of 4.8 seconds to 62 mph, though its range is reduced to 364 miles.

These variants also benefit from a 10% improvement in efficiency and a reduction in drag coefficient from 0.23 to 0.22, contributing to a quieter cabin experience.

In terms of range, the RWD model offers the shortest at 311 miles, while the LR RWD and LR AWD provide ranges of 387 and 364 miles, respectively.

All new Model Y variants feature updates such as improved aerodynamics, ventilated seats, and an 8-inch rear touchscreen.

These updates come amid declining sales for Tesla globally and growing scrutiny of CEO Elon Musk's activities, raising hopes that the refreshed Model Y will boost sales.

The previously available Launch Series, which included premium features, has been discontinued in most European countries but remains available in the UK.

Tesla plans to introduce a Performance model of the Model Y later in 2025, which is expected to carry a premium of $5,000 to $8,000 over the AWD model.

The updated lineup includes the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) starting at €44,990, the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (LR RWD) at €49,990, and the Long Range All-Wheel Drive (LR AWD) at €52,990.

The LR AWD variant is now priced €2,000 less than its predecessor, while the LR RWD has seen a €1,000 price increase.

The long-range single-motor variant, now equipped with a 78.4 kWh NMC battery, has increased its range from 372 miles to 386 miles.

As Europe phases out the Launch Series, other regions might follow suit depending on market demand.
