Tesla Launches Free 30-Day Enhanced Autopilot Trial for Chinese Owners in New Year Offer

As part of the New Year celebrations, Tesla is offering eligible owners in China a free 30-day trial of Enhanced Autopilot (EAP), starting January 24, 2025.
This trial includes the Actually Smart Summon (ASS) feature, allowing users to experience advanced driver-assist functions.
EAP includes functionalities such as Navigate on Autopilot, Auto Lane Change, Autopark, Summon, and Smart Summon, and is priced at 32,000 yuan in China.
In a related move, Tesla announced that customers purchasing vehicles in China by the end of 2024 can transfer their original FSD package to a new vehicle at no extra cost.
Tesla's sales in China surged by 18.9% in December 2024, reflecting strong demand with nearly 94,000 vehicles sold.
Earlier this month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk met with China's Vice President Han Zheng, who encouraged U.S. companies to explore economic opportunities in China.
