Kia is gearing up to launch several new electric vehicles (EVs) in the US market, with a camouflaged vehicle recently spotted on the streets, potentially indicating the upcoming EV3 or a new variant of the EV9.

The camouflaged vehicle observed in Sarasota, Florida, shares design elements with the EV3, particularly in its rear lights and profile, though its size remains uncertain and it could also be the larger EV9 GT.

While the exact launch date for the EV3 in the US remains unconfirmed, the recent testing of a disguised model suggests that its debut could be sooner than expected.

At the 2024 LA Auto Show, Kia showcased five new vehicles, prominently featuring the successful EV9, which has achieved over 20,000 sales through November 2024, alongside the updated EV6.

The EV3 is set to impress with a 'segment-leading' WLTP range of up to 375 miles and an exceptional city range of up to 479 miles.

The updated EV6 features a new design, improved driving range, and a tech-rich interior, including compatibility with Tesla's Supercharger network through an NACS port.

Kia plans to introduce more affordable entry-level EVs in the US, including the EV3, which is priced around $30,000 in Korea and approximately $38,000 in Europe.
