Hyundai Launches 641 HP Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup for Track-Exclusive Racing
April 1, 2024Hyundai introduces the Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup, a dedicated electric racing car with 641 hp.
The vehicle is track-only, based on the high-performance Ioniq 5 N EV, and will debut at South Korea's Inje Speedium circuit on April 27.
The Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup features numerous racing enhancements including slick tires, a stripped interior, and a redesigned aerodynamic body.
It has been lightened significantly by approximately 550 pounds without altering the dual-motor 84.0 kWh battery powertrain.
The car will participate in the newly formed eN1 class of racing which allows teams to select their own tires and includes a mix of knockout and sprint race styles.
