Filipino players Kielvj and Tracy Danielle 'National' Alerta Damas have been signed to Chinese MLBB esports teams XYG and Keep Best Gaming.

Kielvj's recruitment is a noteworthy event as he is one of the first Filipinos to join a Chinese Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team.

Both Kielvj and National will compete in the China Pre-Season Invitational: Stage 1, which begins on March 21, 2024.

The inclusion of Filipino players is part of Moonton Games' strategy to bolster the Mobile Legends esports scene in China following the game's local approval.

Kielvj brings a proven track record to XYG, having previously secured two MPL Philippines championships with Sunsparks in MPL PH Seasons 4 and 5.
