Shawn 'FMPONE' Snelling is working on a completely remade version of the Counter-Strike map Cache for Counter-Strike 2.

New screenshots indicate that the Middle area of the new Cache map is already completed.

The Counter-Strike community, including professional players, has shown strong support for Cache, suggesting it replace other maps in rotation.

Cache was removed from the Active Duty map pool in 2019 and replaced by Vertigo.

Although a remade Cache was released in late 2019 for casual play, it has not been reintroduced to the competitive map pool.
