Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, recently announced the winner of its Crypto Dawn campaign, which attracted over 300,000 participants and ran from January 20 to February 7, 2025.

The event generated more than $58 billion in trading volume as participants competed for daily rewards and a grand prize of 1 Bitcoin (BTC).

The grand prize of 1 BTC was awarded to a trader known as SK, who was selected based on a lottery ticket number that matched a BTC block hash drawn on February 7.

SK expressed his surprise at winning, stating he was informed via email while going about his daily routine, having begun trading crypto in 2019 when Bitcoin was valued around $8,000.

Joan Han, Bybit's Sales and Marketing Director, highlighted the company's commitment to celebrating customer achievements and enhancing their trading experience through events like Crypto Dawn.

The Crypto Dawn campaign marks a significant moment in Bitcoin's history, reflecting the ongoing evolution of the cryptocurrency landscape since BTC's inception.

He plans to allocate 50% of his winnings for long-term investment and reinvest the other half into other opportunities.
