This wave of violence has been linked to drug trafficking activities, which have resulted in two fatalities and three injuries since early February 2025.

The shooting occurred around 2:00 AM at the intersection of Rue de la Clinique and Avenue Clemenceau, where a Molotov cocktail was also allegedly thrown.

In the early hours of February 19, 2025, a house in Anderlecht, Brussels, was shot at, sustaining approximately 15 bullet impacts.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident, according to the Brussels prosecutor's office.

Authorities are now investigating whether this shooting is connected to a recent surge in gun violence in Anderlecht, particularly in the Clemenceau, Peterbos, and Saint-Guidon neighborhoods.

Gunfire erupted during the night, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
