Two key Metro lines are highlighted: one from Eight Mile Plains to Roma Street Station, and another connecting the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital to the University of Queensland.

The initiative promises three additional bus routes, more frequent services on eight routes, and the redesign of eleven suburban routes to integrate with the Brisbane Metro.

By reducing bus congestion, particularly at the Cultural Centre at South Brisbane, the plan envisions a city that operates continuously around the clock.

The transportation improvements are part of preparations for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
