As a global alliance, AREA is dedicated to supporting the growth of enterprise AR, fostering a comprehensive ecosystem that includes enterprises, providers, and research institutions.

The second tool, the IoT Security Maturity Model: AR Profile, provides a framework outlining security practices tailored to various industry sectors and IoT systems.

Mark Sage, Executive Director of AREA, highlighted the significance of these tools in enabling enterprises to effectively allocate their security resources amidst a rapidly evolving security landscape.

Both tools are available for free download, offering organizations tailored insights and recommendations to address their specific security needs.

The first tool, the AR Security Maturity Self-Assessment, is a confidential questionnaire that assists organizations in evaluating their current AR security status and identifying areas for improvement.

Accompanying these tools, the AREA Security Committee has published a white paper that offers additional guidance on implementing best practices in AR security.
