This year's tournament features an increased prize pool of USD 2,350,000, with the winner receiving USD 600,000 and the runner-up USD 400,000.
CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe has emphasized the organization's commitment to promoting women's football through increased investment and enhanced prize money.
The success of the tournament is anticipated to further encourage attendance at women's matches across Africa.
The increased financial rewards are expected to boost the tournament's attractiveness and encourage higher participation from teams across Africa.
Key player Boitumelo Rabale, who was named Player of the Tournament in the last edition, is expected to play a crucial role for Sundowns with her striking abilities.
