Russ Cook, nicknamed 'The Hardest Geezer', completed a solo run across Africa, traveling over 16,000 kilometers in 351 days.
Cook's route started at Africa's southernmost point, ending at the northernmost point in Bizerte, Tunisia, traversing 16 countries and taking 19 million steps.
He encountered severe challenges, including machete attacks and issues with Algerian authorities, but persevered to inspire others to chase their ambitions.
Throughout his journey, Cook raised over 550,000 pounds for charity, notably for the Running Charity aiding homeless youth.
His historic run concluded with a celebration swim in the Mediterranean and an open invitation for people to join the final segment of his adventure.
Cook intends to celebrate his return with a daiquiri on the beach.
