Yunus has identified inflation as a significant challenge, reporting a decrease to 9.32% in February 2025, the lowest in nearly two years, with hopes to reduce it below 8% by June.

He confirmed that national elections are scheduled to take place between December 2025 and June 2026, with a commitment to ensuring they are the most free and fair in the country's history.

Yunus emphasized that Starlink's satellite technology would prevent future governments from disrupting internet access, addressing a critical concern for the nation.
