During the meeting, Prime Minister Manet emphasized the government's commitment to advancing the technology sector.

Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol expressed support for foreign companies looking to invest in Cambodia, highlighting the government's focus on technology.

Prime Minister Manet expressed his support for SpaceX – Starlink's interest in establishing relations and investing in Cambodia.

Hunter's discussions with Chanthol also revolved around strengthening relations and exploring investment opportunities in the region.

The delegation led by Chanthol plans to engage with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions during their visit.

Previously, on September 24, 2024, Chanthol had visited SpaceX's headquarters in California to explore advancements related to the Starlink satellite constellation.

Hunter indicated that Cambodia is a priority for SpaceX's investments in 2025, signaling a strong interest in the region.

Prime Minister Manet encouraged Hunter to maintain contacts with various ministries to further explore investment opportunities.
