OpenAI has formed a new partnership with Schibsted Media Group, a prominent Norwegian newspaper publisher.

Siv Juvik Tveitnes, the CEO of Schibsted Media Group, emphasized that the collaboration aims to integrate artificial intelligence to enhance and support journalism.

Tveitnes also highlighted the significance of merging editorial expertise with OpenAI's advanced technology to adapt journalism to the evolving technological landscape.

Varun Shetty, head of media partnerships at OpenAI, noted that this collaboration not only supports quality journalism but also enriches the ChatGPT experience with relevant news content.

As part of the agreement, OpenAI will have the ability to incorporate content from well-known publications, including VG, Aftenposten, Aftonbladet, and Svenska Dagbladet, into its products like ChatGPT.
