Anglian Home and Norwich City FC Donate 1,500 Meals to Fight Holiday Hunger

A successful food drive organized by Anglian Home Improvements and Norwich City Football Club has resulted in the donation of over 1,500 meals to vulnerable families.
These donations will bolster 26 Nourishing Norfolk food hubs, which are actively working to combat food insecurity, especially during the Christmas season.
The initiative collected 610 kilograms of food and raised £2,260, which will significantly aid the Norfolk Community Foundation's Nourishing Norfolk programme.
The funds raised will enable the purchase of essential food items, such as 3,000 tins of soup or 5,000 tins of beans or chopped tomatoes, for distribution to families in need.
Rachael Munby, chief marketing officer at Anglian Home Improvements, expressed gratitude for the community's support and emphasized the importance of engaging with local families during the festive season.
Sophie Berry, corporate giving manager at Norfolk Community Foundation, commended the community's response and highlighted the goal of Nourishing Norfolk to promote healthier communities through food.
Both Anglian Home Improvements and Norwich City Football Club contributed £1,000 each to support the ongoing efforts of the Nourishing Norfolk programme.
The donations included over half a tonne of food gathered at both the Nest and Carrow Road, which will provide additional supplies for families in need.
