Choreographer Shay Latukolan will design captivating dance performances for the floats, culminating in the arrival of Tom Turkey and Santa Claus, who will conclude the parade.

The festivities will kick off with acclaimed actress Alison Brie cutting the ribbon at West 77th Street and Central Park.

The 98th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to take place on Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 8:30 am to noon, and will be broadcast on NBC-TV, Peacock, and Telemundo.

This year marks a significant milestone as the parade celebrates the official start of the holiday season.

The event is expected to attract around 3.5 million attendees along its 2.5-mile route in New York City, while over 50 million viewers will tune in via NBC-TV and Peacock.

The parade will be hosted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker, with a Spanish-language simulcast available on Telemundo and an encore presentation scheduled for 2 pm.

This year's festivities will feature 22 floats and 17 character balloons, including the exciting debuts of Minnie Mouse and The Elf on the Shelf, along with 15 heritage and novelty balloons.

The parade will showcase a vibrant array of entertainment, including over 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, and 10 performance groups.

Adding to the excitement, performers such as Bishop Briggs, Chlöe, Dan + Shay, and Idina Menzel will grace the stage, contributing to a star-studded lineup.

Mainstage performances will feature renowned artists like Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue, and Billy Porter, alongside casts from popular Broadway musicals.
