St. Pete Shines with Theater, Music, and Family Events: Renken Stars in Neil Simon's 'The Sunshine Boys'

Kevin Renken, a seasoned theater actor and educator, is set to perform Neil Simon's 1972 comedy The Sunshine Boys alongside his husband, Bill Myerholtz, at The Studio@620 in St. Petersburg from November 21 to November 24, 2024.
This production will feature four performances over the weekend, providing a unique opportunity for the couple to portray characters that resonate with their own experiences.
With 31 years of high school theater teaching experience, Renken currently teaches part-time at the University of Tampa, while Myerholtz brings a rich theater background as a retired attorney.
In addition to theater, Spa Beach Park at the St. Pete Pier will host free family events this weekend, including movie screenings and live music from Friday to Sunday.

The monthly Radio Theatre Project show has been rescheduled to Monday at 7 p.m. at freeFall Theatre, with tickets available at the door.
Meanwhile, Ken Ludwig's Moriarty: A New Sherlock Holmes Adventure continues to run at freeFall Mainstage through December 15.
Concerts on Saturday will feature notable artists such as Bonnie Raitt at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Ben Folds at the Straz Center, and Black Violin at Morsini Hall.
