Jeremy Jordan is set to star in the Broadway premiere of 'Floyd Collins' in Spring 2024.

Previews for the production will begin on March 27, 2024, leading up to the official opening on April 21, 2024, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

The show will be directed by Tina Landau, known for her work on 'SpongeBob SquarePants' on Broadway.

The musical features a book by Tina Landau, with music and lyrics by Adam Guettel, and additional lyrics by Landau.

Based on true events, 'Floyd Collins' tells the story of a cave explorer trapped 200 feet underground in 1925, which attracted significant media attention.

Originally premiering at the American Music Theater Festival in Philadelphia in 1994, the musical won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical during its off-Broadway run in 1996.

The production will showcase sets designed by dots, costumes by Anita Yavich, and lighting by Scott Zielinski, among other creative contributions.

The cast includes Jason Gotay as Homer Collins, Sean Allan Krill as H.T. Carmichael, and Lizzy McAlpine as Nellie Collins, among others.

In addition to 'Floyd Collins,' Jeremy Jordan is currently performing in 'The Great Gatsby' and has previous credits in 'Newsies' and 'Smash.'
